The Government must come clean on the metro according to Fine Gael's Transport spokeswoman Olivia Mitchell.
Ms Mitchell said following the series of u-turns with regard to the Dublin metro "the Taoiseach must nail his colours to the mast as to the cost, timetable and route of the metro".
"What is particularly suspicious is that by wrapping it up in a ten year funding envelope, the Government has protected itself until 2015 from any accusation of having made yet another false promise", she added.
She said the Government should clear up the "confusion surrounding the Dublin metro once and for all".
