Ninety-five Garda stations are due to have been shut by the end of this month in the latest tranche of closures, while 39 of them closed last year.
In light of the closures an analysis of crime rates at stations across the country for the latest statistics available (2011) has been assembled by the All-Island Research Observatory (Airo).
The analysis gives a breakdown of types of crime reported, to which stations, for each year from 2003 up to 2011. Airo said the data visualisation tool looks at crime figures in all the closing stations, with a breakdown of offences committed.
