Kissidougou - Fresh fighting in southern Guinea drove thousands of frightened refugees to flee their camp yesterday, further obstructing United Nations efforts to ease what it calls the world's worst refugee crisis.
Reports of new clashes and rebel gains in the town of Gueckedou caused panic in Nyaedou camp, 17 km (11 miles) to the north. The majority of some 30,000 refugees in the camp left on foot.
