Radical Islamic cleric Abu Hamza can be extradited to the United States on terror charges, a London court has ruled.
Hamza (48) was jailed in Britain for seven years in February last year for soliciting murder and inciting racial hatred.
A judge today ruled that Hamza had lost his legal arguments against his long-running extradition battle, and he sent the matter to the Home Secretary to make a final decision.
If handed to the US authorities, Hamza faces a number of charges, including those of providing support to al-Qaeda and involvement in a hostage-taking conspiracy in Yemen.
