Racing: Jessica Harrington will wait to see how Macs Joy works over the next few days before she decides if he can tackle the December Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown in a fortnight's time.
This year's Champion Hurdle runner-up gained his revenge on winner Brave Inca by beating him at Punchestown in April but has not raced since.
He was due to start off in the 'Fighting Fifth' Hurdle at Newcastle last month but was ruled out after pulling a muscle.
"Macs Joy is grand, but I'll know next week if he can run at Christmas. I just need to see how he does in the next few days," said Harrington.
Meanwhile, Beef Or Salmon warms up for a tilt at a fourth Lexus Chase crown with a run in the Irish Racing Yearbook Hurdle at Fairyhouse tomorrow.
Michael Hourigan's pride and joy turned over Cheltenham Gold Cup winner War Of Attrition in the James Nicholson Chase at Down Royal last month before losing little in defeat behind Kauto Star in the Betfair Chase at Haydock.
The 10-year-old, successful in the 2002, 2004 and 2005 renewals of the Lexus at Leopardstown over Christmas, faces 10 rivals over two and a quarter miles.
