Former Taoiseach, Mr Haughey, may not now appear before the Moriarty tribunal until the autumn, following the decision of the Director of Public Prosecutions to seek a judicial review of the Haugh decision.
Mr Haughey's legal advisers are busy preparing submissions for the review, a date for which has not yet been set. The case is up for mention on July 17th, and a date may then be decided.
How this will affect the proposal to have Mr Haughey appear before the tribunal this month is not clear. Last year the tribunal did not sit in August or September.
