Boxing: David Haye's world title shot against heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will take place in German club Schalke's stadium in Gelsenkirchen.
With a capacity of 61,000 for football matches, the Londoner is set to take on the Ukrainian IBF/WBO champion in front of a massive crowd on June 20th.
"We have reached an agreement with Schalke 04 and the stadium," Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente told reporters today. The stadium also has a retractable roof.
Haye, 28, is the former undisputed cruiserweight world champion and will aim to emulate his hero Evander Holyfield by moving up a division to win the so-called ‘richest prize in sport’.
