Ownership of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda was yesterday transferred to the North-Eastern Health Board.
The board's chief executive officer, Mr Donal O'Shea, expressed his gratitude to the Medical Missionaries of Mary who were involved with the hospital for nearly 60 years.
