The chairman of the Health Research Board, Prof Michael Murphy, has announced £2.2 million in research grants for projects in health and biomedical sciences to staff and students in six universities.
The projects to be funded include research into lymphomasand the genetics underlying colon cancer and a study of the effectiveness of treating sex offenders by challenging their patterns of denial.
