As evenings draw in earlier, make sure you are visible when you are out getting exercise.
Walkers, runners and cyclists should wear reflective gear, and if you are on two wheels make sure you have ample lights on your bike so others can see you.
Winter evenings can sneak in quickly, so if you cycle then stash a couple of extra LED lights in your work bag or handbag to stop you being caught out by early-falling darkness or the need to stay out longer than expected.
Meanwhile, if you listen to audio while you are walking or running, leave one earbud out if possible so you can be more aware of the people and traffic around you.
