A study in Britain found that people who commute 'actively' tend to have a better feeling of wellbeing.
The research, which analysed data on 18,000 adult commuters, found that people who got there actively or using public transport rated higher on a wellbeing scale than car users, and switching from using the car to a more active commute or public transport was also linked with an improvement in wellbeing.
