Ireland’s first Alzheimer Cafe has just been launched in the Avila Centre, Bloomfield Avenue, Donnybrook, Dublin. Aimed at sufferers, their families and health professionals, the cafe gives people a chance to socialise and discuss medical and emotional issues in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. It is open the second Thursday of every month.
