The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind in Cork is holding an open day for volunteers, clients and supporters on Saturday, September 1st from noon to 4pm.
The organisation will operate a Park and Ride at Cork Institute of Technology, Bishopstown Campus Parking Lot A where a shuttle bus will pick up visitors from 11am-1pm and return visitors at 3:30pm-5:30pm. rsvp@guidedogs.ie

A series of free public talks on mental health begins on Tuesday, September 4th at 6.30pm in St Patrick’s University Hospital, Dublin.

Ramble Aid is a series of five kilometre exercise courses in South Dublin parks – Griffeen Valley, Tymon and Corcagh Parks – that you can run, walk, cycle, push a buggy or go in a wheelchair.
The first one goes ahead in Griffeen Valley Park on Sunday, September 9th at 11am. Each event costs €5 with proceeds going to the purchase of defibrillators for local centres.
