Child psychiatrist Dr Martin O’Sullivan will speak about good mental health tomorrow at 8pm in the first of three public talks in the Woodlock conference hall, All Hallows College, Drumcondra, Dublin. Tickets €10 per person or €15 for two.

Nordic Walking – the use of special poles for upper body fitness – classes begin in Marlay Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin, on Saturday at 10.30am. Cost €6 per class with poles supplied. Booking on tel: 083-003002. Meanwhile, Nordic Walking classes are ongoing in Kilruddery Estate, Bray, Co Wicklow on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings and Monday and Tuesday evenings. People with multiple sclerosis are invited to enter a competition in which they must describe in 250 words or less how MS has affected their lives and how they live with the condition as well as identifying the one thing they would do, given the chance.
