- Taking Ownershipis the theme of a series of contemplative conservations in the Living Room, 8 Coppinger Row, off Clarendon St, Dublin 2. - Parenting Teenagersis the theme of a parenting course on Saturday from 10am-4pm in Bewleys Hotel, Leopardstown, Dublin. Further parenting courses, led by Sheila O'Malley, take place in the same venue on May 29th and June 12th and 19th. Cost is €80. See practical parenting.ie
- The Special Needs Assistants Group's conference will take place in Waterford on May 22nd. The conference programme includes presentations on the use of technology in the classroom and strategies to promote harmony in the school day.
