Brian Ormond,TV presenter
Do you think you have a healthy lifestyle?
I think I do. When you know you have something coming up on TV, you try that little bit more, or when I knew I was getting married, I was on a health buzz for at least six months beforehand, went to the gym three times a week and didn’t eat rubbish. I have my bad moments but, overall, I have a healthy lifestyle.
How often do you exercise?
In the good weather, I’d probably do a lot more exercise, but in the bad weather, it would probably be three times a week. In the summer, I’d try to play golf twice a week, go to the gym twice a week and play football as well.
Do you get your five a day?
I’d almost get there – I’d definitely have four anyway. I’d have juice and a bit of fruit in the morning and I love vegetables. Pippa is great for making porridge in the morning.
Do you worry?
All the time, I’m a big worrier. I worry way too much. I over-think everything and I should learn to not worry as much. But I wouldn’t sit at home pulling my hair out – I’d focus on the problem and get to the solution.
What do you do to relax?
I love golf. It gives you time to think because it’s not a fast-paced sport. It’s great for having conversations with friends you haven’t seen in a while. You hit a ball and between shots, you’re just having a good old chat.
What’s your unhealthiest habit?
If I’m very honest, my unhealthiest habit is alcohol and the craving for food the next day. It’s not like I go out every weekend, I might have one big night out a month and wake up saying, “Right, I think I need a McDonald’s”, or even worse, have it or a kebab on the way home at three in the morning.
Apart from that, I love a bag of crisps and I could eat two or three packets in one go.
