Do you think you have a healthy lifestyle?

Yes, I try my best anyway. I exercise a good bit, eat loads of fruit and vegetables, and I love my sleep. You can’t underestimate a good night’s sleep – it helps with everything from your energy levels to your mood.

How often do you exercise?

Last year I trained for the women’s mini-marathon, so I took my running pretty seriously. Then, if I am totally honest, I let it slide for a few months. But last September I renewed my gym membership and get there at least three times a week, and I have recently taken up tennis again. Watch out Serena!

Do you get your five a day?

And then some. I am a vegetarian and have been since I was 14, so if I didn’t cram in lots of fruit and vegetables each day, I would be starving! I am a grazer, so I eat smaller portions many (many) times a day! A piece of fruit would get me going in the morning, then my lunch is usually a different mixture of vegetable salads, and then I would have more veg at night for dinner. At the moment I am addicted to rainier cherries.

Do you worry?

Yes, probably too much. It is the one thing I could control better and it would make for a healthier lifestyle. Unfortunately, these days I am sure the same is true for everyone.

What do you do to relax?

I am a magazine junkie. I am up at 4am these days to present an early morning show. So when I get home around 10 or 11am, I love slipping into the old comfies and grabbing my Graziamagazine. Also, exercise is one of the best ways to manage stress, so although the sofa is tempting, I know I will feel better if I get out there and get my heart pumping.

What’s your unhealthiest habit?

Worrying. I need to learn to just let the little things go.
