Bodywhys, the Eating Disorders Association of Ireland:Helpline at 1890 200 444 operates Mondays and Wednesdays, 7.30pm-9.30pm; Tuesdays and Fridays, 12.30pm-2.30pm; and Thursdays 10am-12pm. For e-mail support, contact alex@bodywhys.ie and for details of local support groups, call 01-2834963.
Eating Distress (ED)Contact: www.edcontact.com (a good site for parents and friends of those with eating disorders as well as sufferers).
ED Contact runs a support group at the Clarion Hotel, Dublin on the last Friday of the month. The next meeting is on Friday, March 30th, 8pm-9.30pm.
The Cork support group meets on the first Monday of the month at Glasheen Primary School, next meeting is on April 2nd, 7.30pm-9pm. All are welcome to attend. (Phone numbers available on website.)
Marino Therapy Centreeating distress helpline operates Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, 6pm-8pm at 01-8333126.
A sufferers' group meets every Tuesday at the Marino Centre, 42 Malahide Road, Clontarf, Dublin, 8pm-9.30pm (€10 per person)
