DESIGN FOR ALL: The principles of Design for All should be followed during specification, design and manufacture of information technology, according to the Visually Impaired Computer Society (VICS), which will launch a white paper on the subject this week. Ronan McGuirk of VICS said that including accessibility at the design stage would benefit everyone and be more cost effective. He said the society's new website, www.vicsireland.org, was an example of good practice.
