BULLYING SELF-HELP GROUP: Moving On from Adult Bullying is a free weekly self-help group which meets in the Seraph (Spiritual Energy Release to Adjust Physical Harmony) Centre, 15 Heytesbury St, Dublin.

The group, which can accommodate people who simply turn up on the night, is facilitated by Adrienne Crowe, a yoga teacher and practitioner of complementary therapies. Meetings are held on Mondays, 7.45pm-9.45pm.

Adrienne Crowe also runs many different yoga classes at Seraph including a hatha yoga class for sufferers of chronic pain.

HEALTHY PUBLIC TALKS: A group of Christian churches in south Dublin have chosen health as the topic of their ecumenical Lenten series of public talks this year. The first talk, entitled Patients as Partners - the way forward?, will be addressed by Dr John Hillery, president of the Medical Council, and Margaret Murphy, whose son, Kevin, died in 1999 due to a series of medical errors.

Margaret Murphy has since become a member of the WHO World Alliance for Patient Safety. It takes place in Rathfarnham Parish Church, Rathfarnham village, Dublin on Thursday at 8pm.

Subsequent talks in the series will examine the ethical issues raised by medical research (March 9th), mental illness and the keys to coping with emotional turmoil (March 23rd) and holistic healthcare (March 30th). Admission is free.

YOGA WEEKEND: Looking for an alternative way to spend St Patrick's weekend? How about heading to the East Clare Yoga Centre in Tuamgraney, Co Clare for three days of Iyengar yoga?

Taught by Judith Richards from the North Surrey Centre for Iyengar Yoga, the weekend will include 13 hours of Iyengar yoga suitable for beginners and improvers. Class sizes will be limited to 12 students.
