q MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for young people whose lives have been cut short by sudden cardiac death is being held this Saturday. The ecumenical service will be held at Monkstown Church of Ireland church at 3pm on the Monkstown Road on the main Dublin to Dún Laoghaire road. q EMOTIONAL WORKSHOP: Do you find it difficult to deal with your emotions inside and outside the workplace? If so, workshops this weekend in St Patrick's Hospital, Dublin, may be of interest. Led by Canadian psychotherapist Dr Leslie Greenberg, the workshops will help people identify different types of emotional expression and look at how to use these emotions effectively. The workshop will be based on a therapeutic approach developed by Dr Greenberg called emotion-focused therapy. q STOP-SMOKING CAMPAIGN: The HSE has launched a Stop Smoking campaign, aimed at urging smokers who are thinking of giving up cigarettes to contact the National Smokers' Quitline for advice and support. The HSE says its campaign "encourages smokers to maximise their chances of successfully quitting smoking" with the help of the Quitline which provides support and information. Smokers can CallSave 1850 201 203 for support.
