Giving disabled people a sporting chance
Coaching people with disabilities is the theme of a workshop on Monday next from 7pm-9.30pm in Rosse Court Training Centre, off Castle Road, Lucan, Co Dublin.
The aim of the workshop, which is organised by the Dublin County Sports Partnership, is to raise awareness of the potential of people with disabilities to participate in sport.
The workshop, which is certified by Coaching Ireland, costs €15.

Médecins Sans Frontières evening
An information evening on the independent humanitarian organisation, Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders is taking place on Tuesday, December 1st, at 7.15pm in the Royal College of Surgeons, Stephen’s Green, Dublin.

Dublin talk on tinnitus
Tinnitus is a condition in which people hear sounds such as ringing, whistling, rumbling or clicking, which do not have an external origin.
There are about 45,000 people in Ireland with this condition.
Prof Deb Hall from the British Tinnitus Association will speak about tinnitus on Saturday in the Clarion Hotel, IFSC, Dublin 1.

Helping children to concentrate
Sit Still and Finish Your Workis the title of a workshop on how to help children concentrate and stay on task using sensory strategies.
The talk, which will be given by occupational therapists, takes place on Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm in the Lucena Clinic, 59 Orwell Road, Rathgar, Dublin.
