REMEMBERING VICTIMS OF SUDDEN CARDIAC DEATH:Christmas memorial services to remember young people who have died from sudden cardiac death take place in Monkstown Church of Ireland church on Monkstown Road, Dublin and in St Mary's Church, Carrigtwohill, Co Cork on Saturday at 4pm. JUNGIAN ANALYST ON BODY AND MIND:The interconnectedness of body and mind is the theme of a public lecture by Marian Dunlea on Friday at 8pm in the Swift Theatre, Arts Building, Trinity College Dublin."Neuroscience is confirming the interconnectedness between psyche [mind] and soma [body] and this knowledge opens up the psychotherapeutic relationship to new dimensions," says Dunlea who is a Jungian analyst.

TEEN TALK:Parents, Make the Time to Talk is the theme of a four-page guide for parents to help them speak more openly to their teenagers about sexual relationships. Topics covered include contraception, sexually transmitted infections, fertility awareness and the effects of alcohol and drug consumption.

The guide has been produced by the Crisis Pregnancy Agency which has also produced the You Can Talk to Me DVD and booklet for parents of 11-15 year olds.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT:Console, the support group for people bereaved by suicide, is holding a commemoration evening of song, music, poetry and reflection on Sunday at 4pm in St Patrick's College, Maynooth, Co Kildare.
