Health sector jobs:Beacon Hospital at Sandyford in Dublin is seeking experienced oncology nurses to work at its new cancer centre. The hospital's 14-bed critical care unit also has vacancies for registered nurses who wish to advance their careers in critical care. Beacon is offering flexible working arrangements and permanent contracts. Salaries are in line with HSE rates.

BreastCheck, part of the National Cancer Screening Service, has a vacancy for a locum medical scientist in histopathology for approximately five months' maternity cover.

Beaumont Hospital has a range of jobs available. These include a temporary consultant histopathologist for 11 sessions at Beaumont, commencing in September for six months. The nursing division ICU has a vacancy for a CNMI with a minimum of seven years' post-registration experience, three of which must be at CNM level in the speciality. The surgical division at Beaumont also has vacancies for a clinical nurse specialist in colopractology and a clinical nurse specialist in stoma care.

Staff nurses are also required for the general intensive care unit and the neuro-intensive care unit. Beaumont has a range of other posts open, including a grade VIII statistician role in the non-clinical services division.

The Irish Cancer Society is recruiting night nurses in Dublin and surrounding areas. The jobs offer flexibility and excellent rates, plus travel expenses and holiday pay.

St Vincent's University Hospital has a wide range of posts available including ICU staff nurses, a CNMII for the oncology unit (St Anne's Day Centre), a CNMI for St Peter's ward (renal) and a CNMII in the nursing support service. It is also seeking a physiotherapist. The salary for the post is €37,319-€49,717.

St Vincent's also has a post for a facilities engineering officer (€44,488 -€54,760). The hospital also has a vacancy for an electrician (€34,386 -€36,423), a supplies officer grade A (€44,488-€54,760) and a HSSD team leader (€30,642-€36,787).

The Adelaide and Meath Hospital Dublin (Tallaght) has an opening for a registrar in microbiology. This is a one-year project post for a medically qualified doctor to develop and evaluate rapid molecular diagnostics for MRSA.

Also in Dublin, the Rotunda Hospital seeks a medical scientist (histology) and a clinical midwife manager II.
