The Mercy University Hospital in Cork has a number of openings, including a position for a registrar in general medicine (six months), an SHO in paediatrics (six months) and a locum SHO in medicine (three months).
In Limerick, St John's Hospital has a six-month contract for an SHO in medicine from January 1st 2008. There is also six-month contract for an SHO in surgery from the same date.
