To help women make this very important decision, next Monday January 19th sees the 1998 Whirlpool Bridal Designer of the Year Awards in Dublin. Leading Irish bridal wear designers including Lynn Mar, Bridgette Moore, Tamem Michael - last year's winner - Kathy de Stafford, Ann Devereux, Bronte Bridal Designs and Aideen Cross will all be showing their latest work in the show which takes place at Jurys Hotel, Ballsbridge in Dublin, starting at 8.30 p.m.. Organised by Irish Brides & Homes, the evening will benefit Stewart's Hospital in west Dublin. Tickets for the event cost £12 each, but we have 20 pairs to give away to Irish Times readers.
