Health Sector Jobs: A management role in the Irish Medicines Board (IMB) and head of a major Trinity College Dublin research study are among top health sector jobs on offer this week.
The IMB is seeking applications for a good clinical practice (GCP)/pharmacovigilance inspection manager to develop and manage the operations of the board's GCP/pharmacovigilance inspection team. The post commands a salary of €63,229. The IMB is also looking for a scientific officer to carry out technical and scientific evaluations relating to controlled drugs licences (salary €33,079).
Trinity College is seeking staff for its Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing, the first major longitudinal study of adults in Ireland. The college wants a programme manager to oversee the study (€79,028-€105,654) as well as two research fellows (€45,000-€55,000) and two research nurses (€45,000-€55,000).
Trinity College Dublin is also inviting applications for the posts of lecturer in psychiatry to be located in the Department of Psychiatry, Trinity College Dublin and in St James's Hospital as well as a lecturer in forensic psychiatry to be based at the Central Mental Hospital, Dundrum, Dublin and the Department of Psychiatry, Trinity College Dublin. Both positions include clinical work, teaching and research. The salary scale is €47,612-€56,907.
