HEALTH SECTOR JOBS: Queen's University Belfast is looking for a lecturer in drug and food safety as well as a lecturer in toxin food safety. Lecturer salaries are between €42,351 and €62,195.

The National Maternity Hospital is inviting applications for several positions including a midwifery practice development co-ordinator, a post-registration midwifery programme clinical co-ordinator and a clinical midwife specialist in lactation.

Meanwhile, the Coombe Women's Hospital in Dublin is also seeking midwives, including a lactation manager, clinical midwife managers and research midwives.

St Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin is looking for a senior pharmacist (€57,470-€67,883) and a pharmaceutical technician (€33,319-€39,621).

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is inviting applications for the position of assistant director of nursing for Monaghan General Hospital (salary will range between €49,028 and €59,037).

The HSE is also looking for a senior pharmacist for Cavan General Hospital (the post offers a salary of €56,068-€66,228), two senior speech and language therapists in the Longford/Westmeath area (€47,188-€55,859) and a co-ordinator of residential services in Wexford.

The successful post-holder will have specific responsibility for risk management. The post commands a salary of €45,313-€59,419.

The Health Research Board is inviting applications for a number of awards which form part of a €50-million investment in clinical research.
