Physical activity is a cornerstone of healthy living, but let’s face it, sometimes it can be hard to motivate yourself to get out for that walk, run, or cycle.
Enlisting some friends might help. Make a plan with a neighbour or friend who also wants to improve their fitness, or join a local group that goes out regularly for walks, hikes, cycles or runs.
If you prefer to work out on your own, technology means you can still build a social element. Fitness tracking apps and devices often have options to share your data with friends or online communities, so you can compare your times and distances and maybe even discuss tips and routes.
The extra bit of company might just get you out the door and moving.
