Tim Henman continued his impressive clay court form by breezing into the third round of the Masters Series in Monte Carlo today.
Henman, who beat top Frenchman Fabrice Santoro yesterday, defeated Argentinian Gaston Gaudio 6-4, 6-2.
The British number one was not as impressive on his serve as in his win over Santoro, but he still hit 30 winners.
It is the first time Henman has reached the third round of this event in four attempts and he is set for another stern test against Albert Costa of Spain in the next round.
