Arsenal's Thierry Henry and Manchester United's Ruud van Nistelrooy have been left out of their teams' starting line-ups for today's FA Cup semi-final at Villa Park.
Henry is named on the substitutes' bench for holders Arsenal. Manager Arsene Wenger said earlier this week he might rest the French striker with Arsenal facing four games in nine days. His place in the starting XI went to compatriot Jeremie Aliadiere.
Dutchman Van Nistelrooy, who has been suffering from a knee injury, does not make the United bench. Ole Gunnar is the only recognised striker in the starting line-up.
