High Court action to halt disciplinary proceedings against an aide of President Mary McAleese was adjourned today for the third time.

Bridget Conway, a long-serving protocol officer of Áras an Uachtaráin, claimed she was bullied and harassed by senior staff at the Áras who disapproved of her close relationship with the President.

Ms Conway is seeking an injunction to stop civil service disciplinary action against her.

In a legal submission she has claimed the probe is bogus and instigated as part of efforts to have her removed from her job in the Áras.
