It is feared that all three may have drowned when their vehicle fell from the cliffs half a mile from Doolin. It is thought to have fallen 70 foot into the water. Tyre tracks were found at the top of the cliff.

Gardaí fear the men's bodies may be trapped in the vehicle, thought to be a four-wheel drive, which has yet to be located

Debris from the vehicle was discovered floating on the water near where Mr Griffin's body was recovered. Last night the Doolin Rescue unit found the bonnet of the vehicle.
