Scotland manager Berti Vogts has handed Don Hutchison the chance to make his international comeback by naming him in the squad to face the Republic of Ireland.

The West Ham striker has spent almost a year on the sidelines with a serious cruciate ligaments injury but he could be set to play his first game under the German at Hampden Park on February 12th.

Wolves duo Colin Cameron and Kenny Miller are both handed recalls to the squad.

Cameron has not featured in Vogts' plans since the disastrous friendly against France last March and Miller - who was an unused substitute in Paris - has not played for Scotland since the friendly against Poland during Craig Brown's reign.
