THE ARTISTIC director of Druid Theatre Company has been nominated in the Best Director category of the UK Theatre Awards. Garry Hynes has been nominated as the director of DruidMurphy - Plays by Tom Murphy, which was staged in Britain in June and August and runs at the Dublin Theatre Festival until October 13th.
The production tells the story of Irish emigration through three of Tom Murphy’s plays, spanning 1846 to 1970: Famine, A Whistle in the Dark and Conversations on a Homecoming.
