Riverdeep Group has announced a strategic alliance aimed at significantly expanding interactive learning solutions for schools worldwide.
According to market reports, the alliance comes into effect immediately and aims to offer a full range of Web-based, interactive learning courseware.
The alliance includes ongoing development and technology co-operation between the two companies, including co-development of future enhancements to the IBM "Learning Village" - a key component of IBM's e-business for Schools portfolio.
IBM Learning Village offers tools to build highly effective standards-based lesson-plans and learning modules with special emphasis upon fostering higher among teachers, administrators and parents.
The two companies have agreed to jointly promote, market, sell and service each others content offerings as complementary solutions.
