Icon, Ireland's largest provider of clinical research, said third-quarter profit increased 47 per cent, boosted by new contracts.
Net income rose to $21.4 million, or 35 cents a share, from $14.5 million, or 24 cents, a year earlier, the Dublin-based company said in a statement.
Sales advanced 35 per cent to $313.6 million.
