Impact:At least 20 patients due to attend for elective surgery and another 30 due to attend outpatient clinics are likely to have their appointments postponed.
St Vincent's hospital, Dublin

Impact:A decision on what services will need to be curtailed will be made this morning. If some admissions are to be cancelled, the affected patients will be contacted by the hospital today. Any cancellations will be decided by doctors on the basis of clinical priority, the hospital said.
