DAA appeals conditions on plan Dublin Airport Authority has appealed a number of conditions attached to its planning permission for a € €150 million new runway to the north of the existing runway, writes Paul Cullen.

However, the authority has not appealed a condition imposed by Fingal County Council last month that it pay a €21 million infrastructure levy, much of which will be used to improve the road system around the airport.

A DAA spokeswoman said the appeal to An Bord Pleanála represented an attempt to "tighten up" the planning permission and would have no effect on the cost or duration of the project.
