A Louth man has pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to murder.
Kenneth Cunningham (30), Castletown Road, Dundalk, denies murdering Laurence Garvey (59), at Patrick Street, Dundalk, on December 24th, 2003.
The trial before Mr Justice Paul Carney and a jury is expected to last three weeks.

Eugene Fanning (55), Ailesbury Road, Ballsbridge, has pleaded not guilty to having a pornographic image between January 29th, 2001, and February 27th, 2002.

John (Ben) Mulvihill (53), Rathmolyon, Co Meath, has pleaded not guilty to stealing a Mitsubishi Colt in 2002 and a Ford Transit van between December 2002 and February 2003.
