Teenager killed in Bulgaria
An Irish teenager has died in a jet-ski incident in Bulgaria. The 17-year-old was killed while on a family holiday near the city of Varna on the Black Sea coast on Friday.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has offered consular assistance to the victim's family.
Man arrested after stabbing
A 25-year-old man was seriously injured in a stabbing in Co Antrim over the weekend. The victim suffered wounds to his chest and hand in the attack on the Larne Road, Ballymena, shortly before 6am on Saturday. Police said a 30-year-old man was held.
Six rescued after boat capsizes
A RNLI lifeboat came to the assistance of six people in Lough Derg yesterday evening when their speed boat capsized while towing an inflatable "banana" in Dromineer Bay. Three people were taken to the harbour in Dromineer by a passing vessel. The remaining three were taken to shore by the lifeboat.
