FF TD backs merger with FG

A Fianna Fáil TD has written on the blog site Twitter that a merger between his party and Fine Gael "makes sense to me".

Gardaí question circus owner

A circus owner and his wife have again been questioned by gardaí in relation to the appearance of a wallaby at a disco in Dublin. Alexander and Yvette Scholl have vehemently denied that the wallaby came from their circus where they have a pair of the animals.

They were questioned by detectives from Ronanstown Garda station on Saturday at the site of the Australian Super Circus Sydney near the Foxhunter pub in Lucan.

The couple were previously questioned by gardaí last week.
