Coastal pollution plan agreement

It aims to ensure a fast regional response to incidents, learning lessons from the oil spill off the Gulf of Mexico last April which took months to cap. A political commitment known as the “Dublin declaration” on specific goals towards joint protection of the marine environment will also be agreed.
