Gauhati - Thousands of Muslims in India's remote north-east are lining up to see a sliced potato on which, according to a housewife, the words "Allah" and "Mohammed" magically appeared.
Ms Momina Ahmed said she was preparing lunch on Wednesday when she discovered the words written in orange Arabic lettering. Since then, more than 10,000 people have flocked to their tin-roofed, concrete house to see the potato, said Mr Moinuddin Ahmed, her husband.
