A man injured in the Lurgan gun attack in which former INLA chief Hugh Torney was killed last night appeared at a special court in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, on an arms charge.
Liam McAnoy (22), from Leeson Street, Belfast, was charged with possession of two weapons and ammunition and was remanded for a week.
Torney was shot dead as he and McAnoy walked along Victoria Street, Lurgan, last Tuesday night. The INLA claimed responsibility for the shootings.
