Mayo have been hit with the spate of injuries ahead of Saturday's Connacht SFC semi-final meeting with Roscommon.
Manager John O’Mahony is struggling to comprehend how forward Billy Joe Padden, Tom Parsons, defender Tom Cunniffe and David Clarke have all suffered groin injuries ahead of the Castlebar game.
"I don't know why we are getting these groin injuries, maybe it's the luck of the draw," said O'Mahony.
"Other years it has been knee or hamstring injuries. They just seem to come in a bunch."
