THERE could be no resolution of the Northern conflict "without the involvement and agreement of representatives of the Irish National Liberation Army and Irish Republican Army", according to a statement issued yesterday on behalf of the INLA.

"The INLA remains to be convinced that the British have any honest or meaningful commitment to resolving their problem in our country. Accordingly, we will be continuing to review our suspension of military actions," the statement added.
