Iontas Ltd., a County Donegal based software development company has announced the opening of its US headquarters in Boston.
The company, which specialises in the development of people and management software, is also to go into partnership with Minnesota-based CS Solutions, an IT firm dedicated to helping companies worldwide identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
Iontas patent-pending software products include Agent Focus, which measures the performance of contact center agents and the applications they use, and PC Focus, a flexible people management solution that monitors personnel productivity, training needs, working hours and compliance with computer policy.
Iontas' analytical reports also provide information about workflow within a company as well as aid in the maintenance and management of computer usage policy.
"The opening of the Boston office is an important milestone in our business development plans. We are excited to work with CSSI and a number of U.S. resellers and technology partners who have been looking forward to an Iontas 'local' presence," said Mr Martin McCreesh, Iontas CEO.
"The establishment of a U.S. office demonstrates our commitment to providing superior backup and support services to our U.S. partners."
Srinvas Thirunagari, CS Solutions, Inc. CEO, welcomed the new partnership and said the two companies would now focus on cutting the costs of running corporate IT departments.
