Cricket:Ireland lost by six wickets in today's 50-over game against Jamaica at Discovery Bay with opening batsman Danza Hyatt doing most of the damage with a fine century.
Hyatt, who has been in good form of late made 102 off 129 balls as the hosts chased a target of 230 with 16 balls to spare at the Kaiser Sports Club.
Ireland skipper William Porterfield made 44 at the top of the order, while Gary Wilson top-scored with 53.
Jamaica’s spinners did most of the damage to Ireland as they restricted the visitors to just 80 runs coming from 23 overs.

Niall O’Brien sat out the game with a chest infection but should return for tomorrow’s Twenty20 clash against Jamaica at Trelawny Stadium. Ireland also face a West Indies XI at the ground on Sunday.
