Cricket:Ireland's opening Intercontinental Cup clash against Namibia has been postponed due to visa issues currently being faced by members of the visiting team.
The two sides were due to play the four-day game starting next Tuesday in Belfast, with Ireland including a number of uncapped players in a squad that was to be skippered by Trent Johnston.
A short statement from the International Cricket Council (ICC) this afternoon stated that the event technical committee will meet on Sunday morning to discuss what should happen to the fixture.
The two sides are also due to play two 50-overs fixtures in Belfast the week after next, which the ICC expect to go ahead as planned.
